Harling School of Irish Dance: A Family Tradition
Alyssa Harling, TCRG, founded the Harling School of Irish Dance in 2019 and is excited to have the opportunity to share her love for Irish dance.
The Harling School of Irish Dance puts families first. Alyssa Harling, TCRG of the Harling School of Irish Dance, has a rich family background that is at the epicenter of Irish dance.
Alyssa's entire family has been involved in Irish dancing. Her granduncle is renowned dance master, Pat Roche – one of the original dance masters who brought Irish dance to Chicago.
Both of her parents Irish danced, and she is the grandniece of the legendary dance instructors Dennis and Marge Dennehy, who founded the Dennehy School in the 60’s. Her Aunt Maureen founded the Harling School in the 70’s. Alyssa is so proud to bring together a lifetime of family history and tradition.
At the Harling School of Irish Dance, we build upon the values of excellence, integrity, and resilience. We believe every dancer has a story to tell and understand it's our directive to empower our dancers and nurture their dreams.
